Local CDL Class A Driver

Job Title: Full-Time / Part Time Class A Local Driver Service Technician
Location: EWR/JFK Area

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Class A Local Driver Service Technician for full-time employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for making local deliveries and pickups within the EWR/JFK area using a tractor and trailer as needed. This role primarily involves local operations with a focus on providing exceptional service and efficiency. Strong attention to detail while loading and off loading own truck while matching bills agents freight.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform local pickups and deliveries within the EWR/JFK area.

-Provide specialized services, including product placement, packaging/unpacking, and trash removal.

-Track inbound shipments and ensure proper handling.

-Label and match shipments accurately using HAWB numbers.

Qualifications:

-Clean driving record and valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.

-Must pass background check, drug, alcohol, and medical screenings.

-Strong commitment to professionalism, with a customer service-oriented approach.

-Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.

-Physical ability to frequently lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs., as well as bend, squat, push, and pull as required.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:
-Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
-Previous experience in air freight services is highly preferred.
-Hazmat endorsement.
