CDL Drivers are invited to attend the Kansas City Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit

The University of Kansas will host the2025 Midwest Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit, a Midwest Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit, on December 16-17, 2025.
The venue is the Loews Kansas City Hotel in Kansas City.
This free two-day event aims to share ideas for improving highway safety, with a focus on truck driver engagement.
The conference program was designed in such a way as to provide knowledge, help establish connections and introduce innovations in the field of road safety and freight transportation.
The summit is scheduled to open at 8:30 a.m. on December 16 with the participation of FMCSA Administrator Derek Barrs and FMCSA Regional Administrator Winsome Lenfert
The program includes sessions on various topics, such as truck rental, safety technologies, drug and alcohol prevention, accident research, transportation economics, automation, speeding prevention, combating human trafficking, cargo theft and freight fraud, as well as the impact of electronic log books (ELD) and other electronics on trucks (Ads on the portal GOCDL.us CDL ELD, ECU and other transport Electronics).
