Due to the need for repairs, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will temporarily close the bridge located on Highway 410 and crossing the White River. The traffic restrictions will last approximately six to eight weeks.

This measure was caused by damage caused by the collision of the bridge with a motor vehicle (tractor with a semi-trailer), which led to deformation of the supporting steel structural elements. WSDOT specialists are currently installing temporary steel supports. Full-fledged repair work is scheduled to begin in the 15th week.

It is planned that repair crews will be involved on a daily basis, without days off. According to preliminary estimates, the bridge will be reopened to traffic between October 31 and November 14, inclusive.

Until the repair work is completed, motorists are advised to use an alternative route that runs through SR 164, SR 18, and SR 167. It should be noted that
